Restoration

The landscape for this elegantly restored New England shingle style home takes its cue from the sloped roofline that plunges boldly toward the ground plain and rises up to form elegant gable peaks. Weeping Japanese maples, soaring ‘Hoopsii’ blue spruce and lots of colorful hydrangeas are planted along the foundation in response. A river of blue-gray beach pebbles winds around the patio, and blue stone paving is scribed around the embedded boulders.  The property abuts conservation land and the meadow beyond becomes a show of birds and wildlife throughout the year.
